      They were the slightest of speed bumps for the people storming the capitol.

      Did they tear gas the crowd? Did they shoot rubber bullets into the crowd? Did they keep them from casually strolling around inside the capitol?

        There was an issue of the number of them present at the time compared to the number of insurrectionists but they did shoot one dead.

          One exception of a person who was close to directly attacking members of congress doesn’t mean the protesters as a whole weren’t treated with kids gloves.

            Absolutely, I’m just saying that they didn’t make an exception for her, they shot her even though she was part of a right wing movement.

          Yeah, because the leadership deliberately called most of them off in order to help the coup succeed.

            The leadership being the president in this case, had there been enough cops present with the insurrectionists doing the same thing I don’t think things would have ended any better than in a BLM event.
