Today I have come across two different accounts that were probably a misinformation toll and probably a scammer. Is there a way to report these accounts and the communities they make right to Lemmy.world admins?.
There’s a report feature for user accounts and for posts and for comments. For user accounts specifically, click on their usename to go to the user details page and select “report user.” On the web interface, it’s just a button. On Jerboa, it’s in a menu that pops up when you click the triple dots button at the top right. I’d imagine most Lemmy clients support that feature.
Looks like I need to go to the web portal. Doesn’t seem like Boost has added that feature yet thanks
you can’t report users yet.
there’s an email address for our ticket system in the sidebar of this community.
it’s either that or trying your luck by sending a private message to a random admin. tickets are often a better option.
