I think we are all born with a sense of song and dance an inherent part of how we communicate with each other, and as a way of expressing ourselves. The idea of judgement and “taste” is something we are taught by society to impose on ourselves and each other, and it is something that stifles and diminishes us.
Enjoy your singing, and do everything you can to ensure Tinyest has a chance to enjoy it too.
It should do, but people often use “no taste” to say that someone’s preferences or style are bad. Or possibly to imply that they are ignorant and therefore have no ability to form a judgement about what is good or bad, and that their preferences can therefor be dismissed.
Tinyest is about the only person on the planet who likes my singing. Proof that we’re not born with a sense of taste.

I thought taste meant personal preference or personal style, not only good or bad according some metric 🤷♀️
