I think worse tires and better visibility is the option they should pursue: you’ll see who’s good at driving and cars will have way lower performance so you’ll get some more action from people that drive pieces of junk.
Slicks are the “no grip” option, as illustrated by Lando. I’m talking about a full wet tire that is slightly better than medium wet in full wet conditions.
So then… Another in between Intermediate tyre? Like I get you are saying but you do realise that wet tyres are not much different from other tyres with the only exception being their pattern? I think at some point the differences become marginal.
