Thinking about things and sharing ideas is just fun. But to your defense, there is nothing wrong with not feeling like playing so I do understand your perspective.
I suppose it becomes tedious for others when it appears you are saying, “Everyone, stop playing!” versus the more benign, “I don’t feel like playing today.”
Not sure which you are going for but either way, to each their own! I think your comment is unpopular because the tone may come across as, “Everyone, stop having fun!” but I could def be misreading.

The goal of everything isn’t to be “objectively good”, that would be a world of boring art. I feel like an English teacher now.
