I had a similar conversation about me (no kids) paying taxes to educate their kids. Amazing how its OK when its something they want, LOL! I said “you chose to have kids!!”
I was of course joking but it had a serious point to it as well.
Those are best kinds of points. Highway construction and maintenance is a market distortion by the govt, but paying for universal healthcare? That’s socialism.
