This guy is a menace. Had zero respect for him since he almost killed Sundqvist in a pre season game. Hope he continues to get suspended
You know he’s only got to get suspensions if he commits dangerous acts right? Surely the name of the game here should be to stop players from potentially hurting other players?
I meant I hope for him to play as little as possible. I’ll admit I could have worded it better.
Bottom line I hope he’s on the ice less so he can’t put as many people in harms way for no reason. No place for his style of play in any pro league.
I won’t lie. As a Capitals fan I absolutely adore Wilson. He’ll likely get the C after Ovechkin has retired. He plays with an edge, he’s got speed and he’s huge…
But he’s got to cut out these boneheaded plays. I don’t think this was a deliberate intent to injure, but I do think (like a toddler) he thrashed out because he was angry, and the result of that was a pretty nasty injury to an opposing player.
Deliberate or not, you’ve got to be significantly more careful when you’re on the ice. Being angry and remorseful isn’t good enough anymore. He’s a leader on the team, and this selfish act has cost the team during the most important stretch of the season.

Not sure it was malicious. I am sure it was stupid, reckless and utterly avoidable. Poor decision that’s going to cost his team over the next games, games they absolutely needed him for.
