I want to take back ‘Retard’. Because I want it to apply to things that are infuriatingly stupid, instead of it being used as a derogatory term towards special needs people.

    It doesnt mean yes. It means “i heard you”

    People use it incorrectly

      It came from having fun with “all correct” spelling it as “oll korrect”, going to OK. That has an affirmative connotation and I expect it was used in that way from the start. I can’t see it being used as “I heard you”.

      I can’t think of a context where people use “Okay” to mean “Yes”. When do people typically use it incorrectly?
