This is the core of my best mental argument against a god as described in the Abrahamic traditions. The tenants of god (fathomless love, omnipotent, knowing all history etc) are thrown out the window by the simple need/desire of a god to create other beings. The only motivation to do so means all those other things can’t be true. Much less visit the atrocities documented in the books on those creations. It’s literally over when it started with that derivation of a god.
