I’d have to disagree, with my own anecdotal evidence. Remember, there’s plenty of people who aren’t staunch anti-communists but have had too much capitalist propaganda in the US education system. Reeducation takes time.

Exactly comrade! It is so demoralizing when every person is so deep in their own shit to realize what the world really smells like, but a hint of fresh air can start anyone on a journey to re-education and realization. Even myself, as this is where I came from.
I’m a self-selected individual for learning. I seek out knowledge myself, not everybody is this way. But with enough time and effort others will understand, especially when it gets so bad that it’s hard to defend the status quo anymore. And we’re getting there now, hence the rise in different flavors of communism.
Yeah, also stinks that the education system has to be so full of reactionaries intentionally spreading capitalist propaganda while acting like only the communists do it.
At least the Sanders campaign helped people wake up to the idea socialism is beneficial and not a dirty word!
