Let’s just go a step further. Every sperm and every egg is a child. Jail everyone for killing children, with sentences decided by number killed. Given men have murdered millions of children with every ejaculation, their sentences will be substantially longer than women who only kill one a month, but even so, it looks like it’s just going to have to be life sentences for everyone.
These policies aren’t about affirming personhood, embryonic or otherwise.
They’re about cruelty toward perceived undesirables, and that is how they will be used and enforced.
At the very least this could be interpreted as every egg = a child, so we should see wide interpretation varying from every woman murdered should be considered a mass murder case to if a pre-menopausal woman drives or rides in a car, it can be in the carpool lane.
I’ve posted this recently but I’ll say it again, we need to charge at minimum manslaughter to fetuses that absorb another fetus in utero. These people are born and walk around with us, the monsters!
