Looks interesting. Anybody pick this up?
Been tracking this game for months and months, unfortunately they released after Palworld which is taking the spotlight. I will be picking it up eventually but not in a rush until my Palworld fix is satisfied :)
They honestly could not have picked a worse release window.
In a lot of ways, Enshrouded appeals to me. Valheim with more action RPG/MMO elements is an obvious hit to my interests, but I can’t justify dropping $40 CAD so closely to paying roughly the same price for PalWorld, which admittedly had a much more different and interesting concept.
I’m sure I’ll hop on board at some point, but this just wasn’t the time.
Agree, for a different reason. I did pick up Enshrouded, even knowing that Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth drops in a few days. I think I spent 60 or 80 hours on the previous game (Yakuza: Like a Dragon), but that’s JRPGs for you, especially when you add in the copious minigames the series is famous for.
Will probably timeshare, as Yakuza’s a single player game.
Well said, completely agree! It was my next Valheim replacement!
Plus… it gives the devs a softer influx and allows them to squash some bugs before we move on.
Looks great! I love survival games, but the cartoony style of palworld wasn’t for me. Thanks for sharing, bought it and downloading it now!
Edit: Loving it so far, early access rough edges and all.
Fuck the gameplay. It’s all about the leet graphics right?
I played it for hours last night, it’s like botw, vrising, soulslike, valheim. It’s very fun, but a bit tedious at least at the stage I’m at. If you’re on Linux gotta use the latest GE or it may crash your DE.
It looks pretty good and I’ll most definitely try it once it’s out of early access. It kind of feels like the Renaissance of survival games or something. Especially since Blizzard just axed theirs. They’re the type of company who would completely stumble and break an ankle over a trend like this one.
