I assure you that I’ve known people who had pet goats and would be absolutely disgusted by the idea of eating it, because of emotional attachment. Said farmers also had an eating flock. I respect y’all for following your own moral standards and ideas, but telling other random people they’re evil for following a natural part of the human diet is not the way …
I am also disgusted at the idea of eating my old labrador mother. She is my everything <3.
I also love her children but in the end those ARE in the eating flock. What am i gonna do? It is just to yummy in my tummy. Don’t be afraid though, my uncle puts them down (humanely) with his own hands in the comfort of their homes <3.
Not sure where I said anyone is evil. Just that people dismiss parallels that clearly exist at opposite ends of their moral compass because they want to feel morally comfortable in their choices without actually considering them, especially when they’re ones they’ve been making for a long time. In my personal opinion we’re past the point where we need to process animals for consumption and (America) has gotten to the point where it is borderline concerning how separated from our food we are, but I’d draw short of villifying anyone simply because we’re all creatures of the mud flying on a big mud ball across an seemingly infinite universe and to claim black/white good/bad as objective in that regard would be overstepping my understanding of reality.
Its less the diet part and more the propogating the murder and torture of others part. Having a separate flock for murdering doesn’t really make it better, sorry.
I will eat another
