What did you all think about how the communist party USA was depicted? I think Nolan really nailed the smug sense of self superiority, a trait which the dorks over at Lemmygrad seem to share.

They certainly came off poorly, to say the least.

Yes, it is a very good movie. Like someone pointed out, it is a long one, but to me it didn’t drag that much. In fact, the last 30-40 minutes are necessary to help the audience understand Oppenheimer’s struggle post Trinity. And since it’s a biopic that really is the meat of the film, not the building of the bomb itself.

I also enjoyed the way it managed to make the first atomic test suspenseful. I mean, everyone knows what happens, but somehow I still had my heart pounding at that point in the movie.

So yes, I think it a movie worth seeing.

Its good but longer that it needed to be (3 hours), it starts dragging on at the last hour, so have snacks ready and be prepared to run to the bathroom. It conveys all the info of openheimer really whell so much so that you feel like you get to know him very well, but it suffers from the show dont tell thing in that theres to much dialogue and its not that dramatic. My fav part was the setup for the bomb.
