Some years ago I was struggling badly at a job I was ill-suited for due to having terrible social anxiety. I went to the internet for advice on what sort of work would be a good fit for me, and one of the reoccurring answers at the time was to be a stay-at-home-parent. Like wow, why didn’t I ever think of that?! I’ll just go out this weekend and marry a rich woman and start keeping home!

I recently made a post about moving. And people acted as if I can have a choice or that simply saving would mean I could afford a better place.

…no… Saved money doesn’t grow a livable interest.

It’s wild how people think everyone’s living like they came from a Modern Family type life.

I got one realistic response about living in my car.

Honestly people gave you good advice without being condescending, and they didn’t “act as if you can have a choice”, rather they asked you for more info because you didn’t even say why you “need” to move. You didn’t even reply to some of the best comments in there so idk what you expected.
