The trick is to know which is which. I have a very hands off approach to bugs in the garden unless they are specifically destructive. There are wasps that circle my bottlebrushes when they flower, but they aid in pollination so it’s hands off for them. Bogongs are welcome here. Daddy long legs live inside quite happily to feast on flies and such. Huntsman spiders are called either Henry or George in our house. I only have an issue when Georgina gives birth in the (never used) bathub. Argh.

Check to see what you have in your yard. Get to know them. Insecticide isn’t a solution.
