As the title says. Features are now available on TestFlight. Apple should approve the release on Monday, so let’s hope that happens and it’s available everywhere. Cheers.
Edit: Noticed a problem with the marking as read. Fixed now and I’ll update here shortly.
Thank you very much for the instance and keyword filters! Can finally block lemmynsfw as the NSFW toggle to hide is not working for me for some reason.
Dude. Same. This feature is much needed
Nice! Still sad that you can’t get back to a post you commented on by tapping the comment in your profile. Hoping that’s a bug and not a removed feature.
Yea it’s a bug. I’ll have it fixed later today.
Awesome, love to hear it. Thank you for all the hard work! Memmy has been wonderful for my entry into the fediverse.
I also have this issue with the comment replies. I.e. if I get a notification of a reply to a comment I made and I click on it, it takes me to the post but not to the comment itself.
Also the notification disappears but after a minute or two it is back.
Maybe you are aware of all this.
Two more things:
First of all thank you for all the work in developing the app (progress is very apparent)
And lastly what is the app written in? Would love to help if I can.
Cheers!!
Awesome additions! Yes filtering!!!
Hide read on refresh not working though? Button works.
Is there a way to get in on that sweet sweet beta TestFlight action?
Thank you for doing hide read on scroll!
Thank you. I can finally filter elon musk
Thanks for the update! Please don’t see the following as a complaint, but constructive feedback. There is no rush to do anything.
Does the instance filtering apply per account or globally?
I noticed that posts are still not being marked as read when viewing the picture directly from the feed, even when set to do so.
Also, having push notification problems still: now I’m unable to enable them as the progress circle just continues to spin endlessly.
Also, on iPhone 8, the tab bar at the bottom is still too high.
On the AppStore version now and the instance/custom filters are not saving. If you close and reopen the app, it won’t have them.
Just had this happen yesterday. Thankfully I had only taken the time to add a few since it’s manual typing and not a menu or interface option. Wondering if it’s been fixed.
Just tested again with one instance, closed app and reopened, list empty.
The filters should work great to get rid of the posts about that website I found out about Lemmy on.
Thanks for the update! The app coincidentally crashed a few minutes before you posted this update. lol
Yes, no more trump in my feed!
Wheres the option to see your comment in the original thread when navigating through your posts in your profile? I don’t see it anymore.
Edit: just saw the other comment saying this is a bug that’ll be fixed, thanks.
Great features!
Dumb question. How do you switch to compact post view?
I’m catching up with Memmy again after a few weeks, and I swear I’ve used this feature before, but I can’t find it.
Available again now.
Aww yeah. You rock!
I’ll be throwing it back in there today.
Oh nice!
I thought it just got moved. 😆
Did the UI get refactored? Things like rotation and theme switching feels WAY more performant.
Yes. The entire UI is being refactored and using a far superior UI kit as well as compiling inline styles before build.
It feels a lot better. Nice work.
Any UI you want us to focus on in testing? I know that every time I refactor a UI there is a whack-a-mole of stupid little bugs for a few weeks. 😆
Oh for sure. I anticipate I’ll have things wrapped up by the end of the weekend or start of next week as far as “migrating”. I’m 95% confident that there won’t be any state issues as far as interacting with Lemmy goes, but I expect there will be weird buttons that don’t work, glitchy animations, etc. that I never noticed. I’m aware of a lot right now though, so no need yet.
I’ll open up a thread here in a few days asking for that feedback. In addition, I’d like some input on UI in general and what sort of additions/moves/tweaks people would like to say. With the insanely better performance, I’m confident now in adding significant customization options to the UI.
That sounds dope. I’ll happily contribute to that thread. I run a UX org, so I’m full of terrible UI ideas :p
