Yeah I’m happy with 40m. Got him for 50m, he’s 30, and he’s had spells of injuries. Don’t think that’s a bad deal.

Feels a bit low ngl, though I guess age is a factor. Feel like we should get 50 for him though, especially with the numbers they’re throwing around for players like Ruben Neves.
Given all the circumstances, I think we would be wise to cut our ties with him for 50m and to reinvest that money into someone else.
Don’t get it twisted, as a player, I really like what he does on the pitch but there are the lingering issues outside of soccer tand it’s just a distraction we don’t need.
I’m interested to see what Arteta had planned. Who is Rice replacing, Xhaka or Partey? Will Kai fill in as an 8 against parked busses? For once I’m eagerly excited for the new season to start and I’m honestly getting impatient.
