Religion is toxic. Spiritually and religion are or can be mutually exclusive.
Religion is a turnkey method to highjack one’s spirituality though.
It highjacks a whole lot more than simply spirituality. It highjacks morality and critical thinking. It is entirely possible to lead a moral and ethical life without having a religious foundation at all.
