I think it’s a great idea but financially impossible. The republican states rely on Democrat states for their welfare checks. Considering our country is being torn apart for Billionaires profit, this would give them their chance. Civil war reboot. Except it would just be republicans dying while the robber barons make off with everything. The republicans are more like America’s cousin with Down syndrome we all have to protect from themselves.
why not suggest splitting the country into two groups, that way good people get to live with good people and bad people get to live with bad people
because the populist area wouldn’t work and they would move to the more “civilized” area, creating the same problems and still complaining
