Figured I’d make this community a bit more organized so I’m making requirements on what the title should look like. It’s pretty similar to what yiff requires, but modified for here.
This will apply from this update on, anything before can stay as it was or you can edit it to match
Title (Author)
Placement
- Title and (Author) can be swapped around
Title
- You can do whatever or copy from where you found it.
Author
- Whatever name that is associated with them.
- If you don’t know then put (N/A) and if you find out later then edit the title.
Any questions leave a comment.
Based on a vote the following is no longer required:
(of course if you want to use it feel free to it’s just not required)
[X]
- [L] for a single loli.
- [M/L] for any male type and a loli.
- [F/L] for non-loli female and a loli.
- [Futa/L] for futanari* and a loli.
Add a G- for multiples aka groups:
- [G-L] for multiple lolis.
- [M/G-L] for any male type and multiple lolis.
- [G-M/L] for multiple males and a loli.
- [G-M/G-L] for multiple males and multiple lolis.
- [F/G-L] for non-loli female and multiple lolis.
- [G-F/L] for multiple non-loli females and a loli.
- [G-F/G-L] for multiple non-loli females and multiple lolis.
- [Futa/G-L] for futanari and multiple lolis.
- [G-Futa/L] for multiple futanari and a loli.
- [G-Futa/G-L] for multiple futanari and multiple lolis.
You can also do triple/quadruple of any combination such as [M/F/L] or [M/Futa/F/L]
*Futanari - must have both a penis and a vagina, boobs/balls/both are optional.
Just be aware that if you make a rule, you have to enforce it. That means deleting posts that are fantastic, but don’t follow the title guidelines and manually letting people know what they did wrong. This works well on reddit where you can set up the automod to check titles with regex, but here you are doing the brunt of the work manually.
Yeah, but we’re slow enough that I don’t see it becoming too much of an issue.
Really all I can find as far as hosting bots go. It seems like the landscape is pretty lacking in this regard. This one doesn’t sound very promising: https://github.com/ShittyKopper/lemmod .
The [X] part feels a little too much. But I’ve hardly ever browsed Reddit for porn before. So maybe this is just standard. The other parts sound more than reasonable to me.
I don’t think it’s used on reddit, I saw it on the yiff instance and thought it looked good.
will you be deleting posts that were made before this rule/rules?
Nope
This will apply from this post on, anything before can stay as it was or you can edit it to match (I will for my posts).
ok thx for responding!
This seems good, but the bracket part [] is a bit excessive I think. I’d say it’s less informative than some other communities since we already know the focus (loli). I’d rather use that space for source material name personally.
I don’t think the community right now is large enough to tolerate too many friction points, but also torn on whether title requirements would be enough of one to pose a problem on its own. Even if it doesn’t, the total amount of friction can eventually add up as more restrictions get added in the future.
Annoying and tedious. I don’t mind linking to the sauce if I have it but I often don’t, and then I have to look it up. If I can look it up on saucenao, then so can whoever else wants to find it. And I would predict that the average number of people who care about the sauce on any given post is a lot less than 1, so it would be much less work overall to just expect the person who actually cares look it up.
The list of tags is just beyond pointless, not to mention extremely excessive. If there’s content that people don’t want to see, that’s what different communities are for, not stupid text tags that you can’t even filter by.
And the submission page doesn’t have any of these rules, so now every time I make a post, I have to first remember to visit the lewd_loli community and open this post in another tab, just to make sure I have the right formatting? Get real. It makes me want to stop posting.
I did stipulate that if you don’t know the author you can write (N/A). I did put what each letter means on the sidebar with what the title should look like.
Can’t see the sidebar on the New Post page though. And my big thing is that the letter codes just shouldn’t exist at all. If people are searching for specialized content they should be looking in specialized communities. It’s not like people can filter their feed based on the tags.
Sadly I can’t change anything in the create post section. And yeah you can’t filter based on tags (though in specific circumstances you can), but you never know what the future holds so maybe it’ll be implemented in the future.
Would the M tag still apply for males if its just their hands being shown? I assume it should, but just checking what everyone else thinks.
That works. I already went ahead and changed all my post to match, except for the two posts I made before migrating to this instance as I already deleted that account.
You can remake those and I can take down the old posts if you want.
Sure, I’ll do that. The old post are https://burggit.moe/post/16093 and https://burggit.moe/post/16038
Edit: new posts are up now.
If the male hand is active in the picture, such as fingering or pulling a toy out you should add the M tag. If it’s some background thing then no, by background I mean like it’s a hand you can see in a cafe window that’s just there to give atmosphere.
I think having [X] looks a little cluttered. I get why it’s there, Lemmy doesn’t have a tag system for posts. I think “Title (Author) [X]” could look better. Tags on reddit appear after the post title, so having the [X] at the end would fit that layout. Typically the title is the what catches my attention to click on a post, having it on the left is easier to read imo since most other posts in my feed start with the title.
On reddit I’m a fan of the “Title (Author) [Series]” format, but I haven’t seen a NSFW reddit enforce a format.
Sidenote: I don’t know how, but this is the 3rd time I’ve somehow misclicked “cancel” on a comment causing me to retype everything. Idk why it’s so easy to do.
I changed it to unenforce any specific placement, what do you think of that?
I think this is a good compromise.
I mostly agree with these rules, but I’m curious: why enforce both genitals for futa? I know the term technically does mean someone with both penis and vagina, but most communities understand it to mean a female character with a penis, vagina optional.
Would a “full-package” futa (cock & balls and boobs, no vagina) be considered male for post tagging purposes?
I’ve always viewed futanari as someone with male (optional balls) and female genitals (secondary sex characteristics optional (breasts)) kinda like the pixiv definition so that’s just how I’m describing it. Usually something like you described is called “dickgirl”, but I’ll say that works for futanari as long as it’s obviously not just a male.
@StarNyte@burggit.moe Thanks for being fast. I have a feeling that Nahida is an AI art too but I have no proof and I’m on mobile right now. But yeah, one of those, I think were approaching instance rules with it almost being realistic looking at a first glance.
I assume Nahida refers to this post https://burggit.moe/post/89839
It’s not marked on pixiv as AI and it has multiple images that look more like regular layering than AI variation https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/102192645
I see. I’m glad I was wrong, one more artist to follow then. Kinda sus poster with no history (other than being 7 days old) and suddenly spamming 10+? posts with weird titles had me worried for a bit there lol.
deleted by creator
Wait I just realised those posts break the title rule too, no sources.
Yeah I messaged the creator to add them in. I’m pretty lenient on title rules so I like to message instead of delete right away since titles can be easily edited. If it gets reported I’ll remove then messsage though.
Is it wise to still not allow AI art in this sub? there is not much activity here, it’s not like more posts would not be welcome… also the AI community is dead… the last 3 posts are 6 days 26 days, and 2 months old lol.
Ok, new question, is an image that contains the same character multiple times considered a group or single character? An example image: https://burggit.moe/post/22678
That’s more alternating view points than multiple characters. It’s basically 3 separate images just combined. If they interact with each other like clones, then yeah you can use the group tag.
