I get that it’s hypocritical for someone in his role and he wasn’t allowed to refuse the drug test but goddamnit how dumb is it to be grilled over smoking pot when other countries have fully legalized. It’s fine in Canada. The problem is fentanyl. Do something about fentanyl instead of wasting time on weed ffs.

        Yeah, nah.

        Legalise the harmless ones.

        Decriminalise the hurtful ones.

Destigmatise drug use and offer healthcare of both body and mind, so people can get help if they want/need it.

The harder drugs only exist in an unregulated black market where criminals thrive. Legalize all drugs and let pharma companies make them to ensure purity and standardized doses. Sell them at a cheap price and watch the drug cartels crumble away as their blood money dries up.

Decriminalizing only hopes criminals that sell them.

Legalize and ensure a safe and clean supply.

Alcohol is worse then nearly every currently illegal drug and almost all governments sell it.

Decriminalising means we can continue to go after criminals selling them without hurting the victims of them.

I’ll take an alco over a meth head any day thanks.

And not having meth heads roaming around gacked out of their mind is what’s best for society.

I’d be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that the vast majority of people who use/abuse stimulant drugs, have adhd and ptsd.

Providing access to clean amphetamine, would be far kinder than removing all access.

And creating a society that provided high quality, free at the point of use health care, would be even better. Access to adhd diagnosis and prescription medication would save so many people.

Mate when you can go out and buy meth as easily as alcohol, we’ll be able to compare what’s worse for society.

By the numbers alcohol wins because it’s so prevalent, but by damage to a person? Meth and other hard drugs win out.
