I wonder when the shareholders will have enough of his antics. At this stage Tesla’s just being held back by Musk.

I’m curious how much of the market has this sentiment as it’s been growing since he bought Twitter. Curious if it reached a certain point the board is forced to step in, but if I remember correctly it would be very difficult for the board to actually remove him.

The twitter was the point I couldn’t convince myself that he was just eccentric. I love his endeavors SpaceX, Tesla, even PayPal was revolutionary. But I’m not ready to buy a car and be at the mercy of a loose canon who can brick my car with an OTA update.

            Oh he didn’t make PayPal.

Paypal bought out his shitty x.com company and part of the deal was he got to be credited. They actually fired him from CEO pretty quickly as well.

I wanted a Tesla when the tech was new and revolutionary(ish…). But their reputation has gone down the toilet in regard to safety, reliability, range, etc… but that’s just pragmatism and doesn’t have to do with Musk’s antics.

If they were amazing vehicles I’d probably buy one despite Musk, but I definitely wouldn’t want to support him. I believed that he may have been intelligent and leading innovation in the very beginning, but as soon as I listened to him speak and learned of his behavior and actions, I quickly reorganized my beliefs and realized he was a moronic, pestilent man-child.

I remember a lot of friends thought I was crazy for my early criticism of Musk back then, but they’ve come along as he’s shown the world just how inherently selfish and stupid he is.

The cybertruck is total shite too like he definitely rejected every decent design in favour of that shite.

But he makes the line go up.

As soon as they take long term losses that don’t magically reverse with a stock pump.

I wonder if people realize how much worse the cyber truck will look without $5000 tires.

I’m not sure it’s possible to look any uglier than it already does. It blows every other ugly car out of the water with its unfathomably hideous looks.

For myself, I don’t care. The only time I see my car is for about 90 seconds a day when I get into it or out of it. I’m not trying to impress anyone.

That said, I’ll never buy a tesla as long as Musk profits from the sale. Fuck that nerd.

I call it the Electric Edsel lol. I honestly wonder if it’s going to get pulled off the streets for field of view issues w/ the pillars and unsafe geometry - those corners look like pedestrian manglers.

Even if it came with the $5k tires, US truck culture mandates replacing brand new factory tires with a brand new set of $5k non-factory wheels and tires, so it’s a wash.
