Maybe adding some Cloudflare service or similar would benefit Lemmy. I think Kbin has it but that is moot as long as other instances don’t.
kbin.social had Cloudflare’s DDoS protection for a while, but it messed up their ability to federate with everyone. So they finally turned it off.
