U.S. spy agencies believe that the blast at a Gaza hospital a week ago was caused by a Palestinian rocket that suffered engine failure and broke apart into two pieces, with the warhead striking the hospital’s parking lot, intelligence officials said Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters by phone, the intelligence officials said they had “high confidence” in their assessment that it was not Israel that fired the rocket, but they were less certain which Palestinian militants fired the projectile on the evening of Oct. 17.

“We assess with high confidence that Israel was not responsible for the explosion at the hospital and that Palestinian militants were responsible,” an intelligence official said. “We assess with low confidence that Palestine Islamic Jihad was responsible for launching the rocket that landed on the hospital.”

It’s ridiculous at this point. They actually tried to walk back their original claim that they successfully attacked a Hamas group at a hospital, but then pics/videos of children dying popped up, and people were like it is a war crime, so the narrative switched and it was Hamas who bombed the hospital, and these fake verifications started popping up. Propaganda is at full swing here.

You are probably right but at least I wasn’t self aware enough to notice that. I guess that’s part of growing up, that you start to notice the pattern of the same old news scripts rolled up with slight changes to keep feeding us bullshit.

I’m in my mid 40’s and this shit is getting so predictable at this point I barely bother reading the news these days. I try to go for sources like Democracy Now that just try to relay the information and spare you the opinion. I’ll form my own thank you.
