- Brush: WSP Stubby 26mm Extra Dense HMW
- Razor: Blackland Razors Vector
- Blade: Feather Artist Club Professional (2)
- Lather: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Soap
- Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Aftershave
- Post Shave: Thayers - Rose - Toner
- Fragrance: Barrister and Mann - Hallows - Eau de Toilette
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
The shave felt great. I have no idea what my issues with this blade in this razor were before. I think that yesterday’s shave with the WR4 might have been slightly closer, but that’s probably related more to technique than the razor.
Hallows continues to be amazing!

- Brush: AP Shave Co. - 24mm Synbad Fan
- Razor: Timeless .68 SS Scalloped
- Blade: Bolzano Superinox (German) (4)
- Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Piacenza - Soap
- Post Shave: Australian Private Reserve - Raconteur - Aftershave
- Fragrance: House of Mammoth - Jitterbug - EdP
Wow, Piacenza is quite nice. I’ve never smelled the real thing (Acqua Di Parma Colonia), but I can see why people like it. It has a nice sophistication to it.
I used Raconteur soap the other day but forgot to use the matching aftershave, so this makes up for it.
Until I tried Bleu Man (poorly named Deep Blue Sea), Piacenza was my favorite Stirling soap.
LOL. I’ll have to try a sample of that
But, HAVERFORD

Apologies for getting real with you guys for a moment, but I feel compelled to mention that my dad passed on two days ago, and this was my first shave since then. My wife and I and my brother are staying here at the house with my stepmom. It’s fitting that this travel brush used to be my dad’s until he gave it to me about a year and a half ago.
My condolences. Memories live on. You can always revisit the good ones.
Thank you. Those are very true words, and helpful.
My condolences to you and your family. I hope that you can take the time to grieve, and spend time with your loved ones in this difficult time.
Sending you my thoughts!
Thanks so much, really appreciate it.
Sorry to hear that. That’s neat that you have something like that to remember him by.
Thanks man. Agreed, it’s a little more special when I use it now.
