The complaint was lodged by the manager of a business near Cambie Street and 43rd Avenue, who said she initially called police for help on Sept. 16 after a homeless man refused to move his shelter away from the front entrance of the building.

In her complaint letter, the woman stressed that the homeless man “was not causing a disturbance in any way,” and that she found the actions of the officer who responded unwarranted and “disturbing.”

Having a family member in the force (USA but), I totally agree. I don’t trust them to arrive with any speed, let alone deal with an active problem in a safe or sane way. They all have a dick-measuring problem, and have to prove themselves.

All emergency services are questionable where I’m at, so I assume whoever eventually shows up will do a shit job. ‘if you want it done right, do it yourself’. At least I won’t try to shoot/beat/assault myself in the process.
