It won’t require intensive reading/listening; it should be doable for anyone who works or studies full time, and we’ll vote on which texts to read.

Fair enough, I was confused about the differences between genzedong.xyz and genzedong.org before, but will try joining this weekend.
for anyone else reading this, the problem was that @sovietsnake was part of the old GenZedong space (genzedong.org), which has been defunct for a few months now – you have to join the space on genzedong.xyz instead (or ask for a direct invite if you just want to join the discussion group)

I was able to make an account on the website but I can’t login on the iOS element app. I get an error saying “Cannot find a server at this URL, please check it is correct.”
On what homeserver did you register, and did you enter the same one in the app? By default it’s all matrix.org
I registered on genzedong.xyz, I tried a different app (Syphon) and that seemed to work. Not sure what’s going on with element
