Recently, a post is popping up across Lemmy about Gnome hiring a Shaman. This is misinformation being spread by a satire tech journalist, Lunduke.

The article is here and claims that there are multiple social media accounts of them and a website, as well as claiming that the post is not satire.

They try to back up these claims with archives, but the website only has a single archive created on October 17th, one day before the article was posted, and no previous evidence of the website existing. The website was created for the purpose of the article.
