it is indeed fascinating when people don’t read the articles they send you as links.

I don’t think actually reading the article somebody sends you is very unique. Why do you think it is?

Why do you assume I hadn’t read the article? Or that the information therein was news to me?

The fact that the lesson you took from that was “all sanctions are evil” is… Interesting logic.

No I assumed you read it but after your replies it became clear that you hadn’t read it.

You said we should stop trading with China because of reasons. I asked for those reasons and you linked to the article. The article said they placed sanctions. Therefore it’s logical to assume you want to stop trading with any country that imposes sanctions.

Or maybe I should just assume that your reasons have nothing to do with economic issues or sanctions or whatever. Maybe I should assume it comes from a place of ignorance and bigotry. This far into the conversation that seems like a more likely reason you want to trade with other nations that impose sanctions but want to stop trading with china because it imposes sanctions.

Fascinating. Do you know how many countries have imposed sanctions on some other country?

                  A lot.

I suppose you think we should stop trading with all of them.

                    I don’t know, do I?

This has been a fascinating exchange, but not quite the look into your mind I had hoped for.

Now, tell me, do you think the reasons for China enacting sanctions are reasonable ones?
