    A healthcare worker strike is the second best thing to a general strike, hopefully the sentiment spreads.

      I’m hoping this strike works out well. The medical field is woefully underrepresented by unions. We need more action

    I hate that these places of healthcare use patients that are suffering as a barrier to striking. Proud of these striking workers, stick it to the system and get fair and equal treatment

      It really is fucked up, same thing with teachers, they got into the industry to help people either survive or learn and you can’t get the time back in either instance when you strike

    Had a old girlfriend that work for Kaiser. I used to joke they were the Umbrella Corporation. We had great health insurance (yay for not having to be married in California)–but the doctors were really hit and miss. Idk if they loved working for a “non profit” (yeah right) hospital.
