It’s enshitification. People’s friends are on it so they can’t easily leave the platform. Now Snap can charge for features that others give away for free, therefore creating investor and shareholder value.

These days I’m hesitant to use any service that doesn’t have a full-featured website. At least I can use browser extensions to fix it in that case.
