    If the US government got an extra 10.9B from this they’d just spend it on 10.9B worth of military hardware.

      Or they’ll send spend it on social programs or they’ll spend it on themselves. There lies the root of the problem

        True. The spending of the money needs to be legislated in the same bill as the tax to make it work well.

          That’s not gonna happen. They are going to entertain you with the idea that they’re going after the rich or they’re going to entertain you with the idea that they’re going to reduce spending in a very sly hand they’re going to simply increase the issuance of money, even more heavily Through the inflation tax, which is really all it is it’s a tax. The fact is it’s even worse than that because over the last hundred years we’ve had massive productivity games, but the taxpayer has barely seen those games because they are taken out of the economy through another present inflation that accumulates those gains into the spending of the government.
