Gran Turismo 7 is getting another update this Thursday bringing new cars, menus and scapes.

The three cars coming to the game are…

Garage RCR Civic
Honda Civic Type R ‘22
MAZDA3 Gr.4

Two additional menus…

Extra Menu No. 29: Porsche Supercars
Extra Menu No. 30: GR

Plus 29 additional scales locations which haven’t been announced yet.

This latest update marks more than 7 months since a new track was added to the game. For a “live service game” Polyphony don’t seem to be bothered about releasing new content other than cars and the lack of communication from the developers doesn’t help the fans feeling ignored by Polyphony.

Polyphony have never released any kind of roadmap so fans of the game have an idea of the release schedule for new tracks.

Gran Turismo Sport by comparison never went more than 3 months without a new track in its first two years after release.

With Forza Motorsport releasing in a few weeks Polyphony really needs to up their game if they want to avoid people jumping ship to the Xbox racing sim.

Another lacking update. The weather radar is a nice touch but I would’ve preferred weather forecast and the ability to seek through the timer bar is needed.

Also, Ferrari 330 P4 costs 20 million credits now! From GTPlanet

I’ve given up on buying all the cars in the game. Having to do the same race over and over gets belting very fast. I’m waiting for Forza next month.

Same here but I moved to emulating older racing games. I think gt7 is on life support unless PD state otherwise.

GT7 could have been a £20 DLC for GT Sport.

It’s an interim game to hold us over until Gran Turismo 8 is released that they put no effort in to.

Even the UI is identical to Sport.
