I’m not the original author and I hope that kind of sharing is ok… I just wanted to share this incredible documentary about the Japanese anime Dragon Ball :

It’s pretty long (and in many parts) but the precision of information and the depth of analysis absolutely stand out, and I learned a lot about some TV moments that are still core memories to me to this day at 40 years old. Incredible piece of work.

Hey, did you know that the episode containing the infamous panning shot with Goku and Vegeta was entirely done by a SINGLE animator? Absolutely blew my mind.
