I’m curious what the specs of the Lemmy.one server are.
I know Lemmy is efficient and can run on not a lot of RAM or CPU power. However I know that Lemmy.world uses a pretty powerful dedicated server: AMD EPYC 7502P 32 Cores “Rome” CPU and 128GB RAM
4 core AMD, 8GB RAM. Memory usage usually hovers around 1.5GB, load average around 0.6, so… Not sure what is going on over at lemmy.world lol
Wow, Lemmy really is light on the resources. If this was a Microsoft product, it would require MSSQL with 32 gigs of RAM for a 30 user instance.
Probably a really low load average going on :)
Thanks! No idea what all that power serving lemmy.world is for. Maybe it shares hosting with mastodon.world (not sure how power hungry Mastodon is).
I have a very smooth experience by now, well done jonah
