Can we stop posting political memes?.. It’s getting annoying.

It’s not we, this guy is the only person posting these political memes here. I hate blocking users but posting multiple memes a day trying to push your agenda is pretty annoying.

Yeah. Although I like socialism and partially agree with the meme, I’m really tired of constantly seeing political memes, so at this point I just down vote any political meme that I see lol

I can’t find a single meme that isn’t political. Whether you like it or not there is political messaging in every single piece of media

Well I didn’t mean it like that. I obviously meant memes that the sole purpose is to bait the opposing party into raging in the comments.

The occasional meme and critique should be fine though.

I think the only reason some appear less political to you is that you aren’t the oppressed in those memes

Nah. I just don’t care. I don’t go for memes for the political content.

If I want to discuss politics I’ll do it elsewhere.

The very claim that you don’t care only shows that you are privileged and hence can ignore the political aspects

Maybe I didn’t get my point across clearly, that’s on me. English is not my first language.

What I meant is, I don’t care about politics on the MEMES community. It’s not against the rules, but my opinion is that politics should stay out of “hehe that’s funny” content.

Political content on here only serves to further divide and annoy people. Politics should be discussed just not on here (again, imo)

The problem isn’t with capitalism but the people that take advantage of it.

You can take advantage of socialism too.

tho i wouldn’t mind me some socialism

Nope. Capitalism inherently exploits the working class. Exploitation is not inherent to socalism. Both system are corruptible, but capitalism starts out that way.

Exploitation is inherent to any system in which there is an established hierarchy, which necessarily includes any and all systems in which there is institutionalized authority, entirely regardless of the economic system in place.

Leaving institutionalized authority in place and merely switching from a capitalist to a socialist system only changes the specific hoops the exploiters have to jump through to gain and maintain privilege - instead of gaining wealth and using it to buy political power, they have to, and do, gain political power and use it to commandeer wealth.

If you want to fight exploitation, you need to go all the way to the real source and fight the institutionalization of authority.

Any time anyone has the power to rule, you axiomatically have a ruling class.

Libertarian socalism. I 100% agree. All unjustifiable hierarchies must go. Including all that are established by violence and coercion.

Have we tried maybe…NOT putting anyone in charge of everyone and THEN trying socialism/communism? There are other theories we haven’t explored yet…🏴

And we just may be at the point where technology can make this happen.

Just take a look at the self-organizing nature of the open source software industry. No one player has absolute control of anything, yet it thrives.
