I’ve never heard of any of those bands besides Extol. Do they all share members with extol?
Yes they do! Some predate Extol and some came after or during Extol. But all had members from Extol throughout the years.
Sometimes you can hear similarities and other times it’s very different.
I’d say Fleshkiller is the most like Extol with Schaliach coming in second as one of the very first, predating Extol, and Mantric coming in at third but sounding more like the Blueprint Divine and Synergy years on some songs. Azusa is probably the furthest but still retains some similar sounds.
Listening to Synergy album on repeat. Them and all the connected bands are just all so amazing. Please tell me if I’m missing any, anyone:
