How about the guy in a spandex costume autonomous robot division he claims will be able to do human jobs etc? Yeah hes about 20 years behind on Boston Dynamics and even 20 years ago they had better shit than he does. The demos he did were shit yet still obviously faked.
How about the boring company? You know, the one that could build tunnels for 1 million per mile instead of 1 billion per mile? Well yeah, if you leave out tracks, stations, safety features like emergency exits, and infrastructure, then I can do it cheap too. Even so, of course it was still more expensive than he claimed

How about ballistic missile travel to go to the other side of the world in 30 minutes? Oh yeah, let’s exchange the safest mode of travel for the least safe mode of travel, ever. Especially when flying with boom boom SpaceX rockets! But hey, at least the last thing you’ll hear before your explosive death is cheers and applause! Oh wait, that too isn’t right because usually SpaceX headquarters doesn’t know the thing blew up until minutes after… Anyways, let’s ignore simple basic facts like "you can’t fire 160db rockets in the middle of City centers, or not even within a 50 mile radius so those 30 minutes are now 30 plus an hour to get to the launch site. Add boarding and fueling times (they don’t just let fueled rockets on launch pads as they are ticking time bombs) so add some 3 more hours. Tack a few hours here and there for other items, you can just as well take a airplane.

The fucking billions wasting project that never went anywhere because its impossible to build because of basic physics that any 15 year old should be able to point out. With this one I don’t even know where to start. Multiple universities in the world jumped in on this one, it was insane. Anyone with a brain looking at it could tell it would never ever EVER work, yet even fucking universities are complicit nin this one. How about that a 600 miles vacuum tube just doesn’t exist, never will? How about a 600 mile tube that needs to be vacuum air tight tends to shrink and expand with temperature changes, enough to move your end stations around by hundreds of meters ever say? How about anyone with a gun (these don’t exist in the US, that is a fact) shoots a hole in one of those tubes , either for terror or shits and giggles and the resulting air blast would obliterate any incoming pods?
