    Looks and sounds amazing! Any particular reason you chose a microwave over a pan or oven?

    • Yeah, it is faster, easier and uses the least electricity. It doesn’t require my physical presence while its being steamed and is on a timer. I essentially just rough cut some veggies and put together the sauce and came back in 20 minutes after the rice and veggies were done then I microwave the sauce until its thick and ate it. Everything is glass so I just rinsed it and put it away right after. Based on my smart meter when I make something like this in the microwave it uses 60% less electricity than my glass top stove. Not sure how it compares with induction. It doesn’t matter for me now but in the summer it doesn’t heat up the kitchen either which is nice when I’m running climate control.
