Sure I get the philosophy behind that but you will never fill the bandwidth of that usb port with a card reader and how I understood that draft it is the slow card reader version. So it doesn’t make sense to waste a usb-c port for a usb 2.0 Card Reader.
Should it be a SD-Card express reader it will also not use the full bandwidth but is more useful as a usb-c dongle.
And considering you have only 4Ports (yes the 16 has 6 port I know)
You better of with a integrated. At least you can’t lose it when you’re travelling.
