The Redgifs ones embeds don’t always unfurl. But they are links, not uploads, so you have to click the links and view in the browsers. Redgifs is the number one host used for NSFW content on old Reddit after IMGUR banned porn. Not sure why the app devs aren’t prioritizing integration.
From my understanding, it’s more that redgifs keeps breaking their embed interface, with the intention of bringing viewers to their actual site. Keeping the RG embed working requires the devs to update the code every few weeks or so.
Because it’s a video, and you don’t upload videos directly to your Lemmy host. But I’m done with your inane harassment. I don’t see this kind of crap on any of the other link posts in this sub ✌️
