Although it is disappointing to see that a small group of individuals can sway a very large instance filled with many people to defederate I really don’t care at the end of the day. My goal is to continue to provide a free speech haven and allow people to say as they please, even if it offends someone. Truth about people pushing to defederate is that it’s usually like one to five guys with like 50 accounts down voting and commenting negatively throughout the Fediverse having an agenda that is pro LGBTQ and pro censorship of anything or anyone that could possibly offend someone. My opinion on the matter is fuck your feelings and get over it removed. I am new to all this, but my current theory is that the weirdos run to the internet because the regular world sees at them as they are… weirdos. so they hide in their weirdo communities, and if normal people are around, they block them because they know we will call them weirdos, and that would be too heavy for them. they can never accept they are weird, everyone else is wrong.
