    Yeah I take dexamphetamine. Was far better suited for me. Took a little experimentation to find the right dose.

    I don’t recognise who I was before the treatment. Truly.

    I would do the best you can to keep following up and trying to get the right medication. I could never imagine that I’d be where I am now before the medication.

      Thank you for sharing your experience!

      I want to be able to say the same thing about myself, because I think I’ve hit rock bottom. I am going to follow up with the GP about the meds (a year and a half later after I was supposed to).

        I think I can relate to that feeling. Just before I was properly diagnosed I could no longer do even the things I loved.

        Executive dysfunction had basically ruined my life.

        Keep trying! It’s worth all the effort I promise you. But I know how hard it is to follow through on stuff when you’re not getting treatment.
