It’s July 1 2023, when Reddit API changes have taken effect
For people asking what to do with their Reddit app after API changes that effect today, it’s up to you what to do with it. It’s none of my darn business.
I have already uninstalled Boost for reddit (great app) and haven’t looked back since
I haven’t really thought about what to do with my 3rd party app on my phone. Should I uninstall it? Or should I just leave it as a memory?
Leaning on just uninstalling it though. Cut oneself off decisively and cleanly.
It’s up to you to decide what to do with the app, not me.
Of course. Those questions are to myself. And frankly, I don’t think I should be in a hurry deciding anyways.
I’d probably keep Relay in the background until the day it deactivates on its own once they move to a subscription model.
I guess that’s another option. In my case, RIF has already announced it’d shut down on June 30th, so I can just leave it be until later today.
