Help, I’m trapped in Maine! How do I get out!?

Maine: Soda is too flashy for me. I prefer raw text.
I think I often say soft drink, but I’m from Canada and off the map.
Really I’m in bc and I’ve only ever heard pop
Funny seeing the line in Oklahoma. I’m from Tulsa and have always said Coke, but it wasn’t odd to hear pop. Soda? Get. Out.
“What will you have to drink dear?”
“A coke.”
“Sure, what kind?”
“Dr Pepper please.”
It wasn’t until I was in a foreign language class in HS that our teacher called out this behavior. They said, if you ask for a “coke” in Europe, you’ll receive a “Coke.” We all thought that was odd… At least at first.
Tulsa! The best city in the south!
Meanwhile in Scotland: “Gies a can a juice.” https://irn-bru.co.uk/collections/our-juice
The true irony that Minnesota is POP.
I feel like I’m missing a reference with the changing states borders…
Based on the post title and that the third map shares the same lines and has references to the Fallout series, I’m gonna guess part of the lore of the Fallout series is states becoming consolidated. At least that’s the conclusion I came to after wondering the same thing myself.
Hey, I’m just glad we’re winning.
I dont think I get the vim reference ?
lol
Arkansas is a tumor on Texas and West Virginia is the northeast’s nutsack with a deformity
