Lemmy.world was full of the biggest pussies Reddit had to offer. I thought it would be like Reddit in 2011 but nope, it’s wankers all the way down crying when you say maybe it’s not healthy to watch your wife getting gangbanged every night.
Everyone on the right already quit Reddit a couple years ago and migrated to sites like patriots.win or forums.red.
The only people left on reddit are the extreme left. When they quit reddit en masse, they’re going to create a left circlejerk website. There just aren’t a critical mass of conservatives left on Reddit anymore, because they would have left already.

On the other hand progressive/social justice people are overwhelming intolerant and allow basically 0 discussion. You’re with them or you’re not. They can’t see they’re part of the problem and I wish they’d just shut the fuck up already and point their hate at the corporations that have grown to big to allow people willing to do the work to grab their fair share. Distracted fighting each other while “crony capitalists” keep running their game. Fucking stupid.
And that is why I think even some of the Left is going to come here to post eventually.

Splattering racism everywhere is akin to being antagonistic. Free speech is good, but don’t be shocked if people block instances with racist spam.
I respect this sentiment but I also do not believe in doing stuff to police the content that is posted that is racist in terms of deplatforming…

The problem is that what I’ve heard is that Lemmy doesn’t have a moderation tool to do that. In principle I dislike defederation because I want to be able to see anything I want, but if they don’t have any less extreme options it’s understandable.

It seems that expressing moral objections to the sexual perversity normalizing agenda is sufficient to get you banned from most instances.
