I’ve never understood this guy’s hate for morning routine. Some people like things like breakfast and hygiene.

That’s workers rights and unions. You do not need a massive overhaul of the whole society according to antiquated and mostly failed ideas to have the civil work conditions.

If majority of people in America do not want better workers protection by voting how could they ever agree to communism?

First focus on the small and relatively easy steps, like defeating trump.

As I said you do not need to fundamentally change every aspect of society and hope for the best. There are tools for fair work conditions already.

You don’t rewrite whole code into some unproven prototype that mostly failed before. you just upgrade one component

If the employees all take a week off, an organization grinds to a halt. If the bosses take a week off, it’s business as usual. The employees do all the labour, but because of their relation to the equipment (tools, software, machinery, what have you) they are forced to give away almost all of the value they created to the boss. The boss does nothing except own the equipment, and yet reaps almost all the rewards. The bosses of all organizations, collectively, put employees and prospective employees into a dilemma: give them most of the value you create, or starve. In many if not most industries, it is prohibitively expensive to expect somebody to buy the equipment to work for themselves, among other unrealistic expectations.

This fundamental relationship is a defining feature of capitalism. It cannot be done away with through the use of unions, and we can see this by looking at Sweden. Sweden still has homelessness, worker exploitation, value extraction, despite high union membership. The “success story” of capitalism is still exploitative, and again as we see in Sweden with the current dismantling of the social safety net, it is also temporary.

But I’m not here to flesh out all the details, for God’s sake read The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels or On Authority by Engels, they’re not that long. I believe in you.

Like Keynsenianism? Neo-liberalism? Capitalism in general?

I mean it works and we have actual things. You just have to restrain it and modify which is still in the future of USA when many countries are long past this phase. It is as simple as taxing rich and redistribution. Then we can get the poor to contribute more by welfare and more gain for everyone. But again you cannot overtax or eliminate rich completely as there is no incentive anymore to strive to become rich and create startups, companies, businesses etc.
In interconnected world they can also run away but this is big problem for communism too. Specialists run from communist country to make it big on another side of iron curtain, or just to not starve.

All in all it’s pretty comfy here and no sight of communism whatsoever. Only online some niche people worship a book and call you names pretty quickly

What’s funny I never heard ever of immigration from capitalist country to communist one because either a. Purportedly pUrE cOmMunIsM doEsnT eXisT (yet? Ever?) b. It is shit.
1# The communism is when it works. It doesn’t work? It isn’t communism. See the rule nr 1#

as there is no incentive anymore to strive to become rich and create startups, companies, businesses etc.

I think this is more because money is no longer used for its original intention, i.e. facilitating the easy trade of goods and services, instead of a physical resource to hoard for the purposes of calling on future promises or just for more hoarding.
