Honestly, the people I knew in Texas were more clear eyed, even with all the oil money there.
I find it deeply ironic considering how intensely vulnerable Florida’s cities and economy are.
To be fair, it’s probably easier to bury your head in beach sand over desert sand.
Soon that will be underwater sand.
