Is it like Inktober? You get “assignments” and are supposed to draw them and then post it online?

Yeah basically. One sketch per day or week, just a one word prompt. For instance, today’s prompt on the Android app is Butler, yesterday’s was Poolside.
Well if you can find someone popping 1 word per day then I can host it on my art dedicated Lemmy server.
